How does installation accuracy affect the noise of JZQ400-48.57-I cylindrical gear reducer

The installation accuracy of JZQ reducer mainly affects its noise from the following aspects:

Gear meshing accuracy

The influence of installation accuracy on center distance: If there is a deviation in the center distance between two gears during installation, it will cause the gear mesh clearance to not meet the design requirements. The center distance is too large, the meshing clearance increases, and gear transmission will generate impact and vibration, thereby causing noise; The center distance is too small, the meshing clearance is too small, and the friction between the gear teeth increases, which not only exacerbates wear but also leads to increased noise.

The influence of installation accuracy on parallelism: During the installation process, if there is a deviation in the parallelism of the two gear shafts, it will reduce the contact area during gear meshing and increase local forces. This will result in uneven wear of the tooth surface and generate additional lateral forces, causing vibration and noise during the operation of the gear.

The influence of installation accuracy on perpendicularity: For some intersecting shaft gear transmissions in JZQ reducers, such as bevel gear transmissions, if the perpendicularity of the shaft does not meet the requirements during installation, it will deteriorate the meshing state of the bevel gears, cause off load phenomenon, and generate noise.

Bearing installation accuracy

The impact of installation accuracy on bearing clearance: When installing bearings, if the installation accuracy is insufficient, it can lead to excessive or insufficient bearing clearance. Excessive clearance can cause radial and axial movement of the shaft during operation, affecting the meshing accuracy of the gears and resulting in noise; If the clearance is too small, the friction inside the bearing will increase, which will cause the bearing to heat up and also change the meshing position of the gear, causing noise.

The influence of installation accuracy on bearing perpendicularity and coaxiality: The deviation of perpendicularity and coaxiality during bearing installation will cause the bearing to bear additional bending moments and eccentric forces, resulting in uneven contact stress between the bearing rolling elements and raceways, causing vibration and noise. Long term exposure to this state can accelerate bearing wear and further increase noise.

Connection accuracy between reducer and motor

The influence of installation accuracy on coaxiality: When the reducer is connected to the motor, if the coaxiality deviation between the two is large, it will cause additional radial force and bending moment on the input shaft of the reducer, resulting in uneven stress on the gears and shafts inside the reducer. This not only affects the normal meshing of gears, but also causes premature damage to bearings, resulting in noise.

The impact of installation accuracy on parallelism: If the installation plane of the reducer and motor is not parallel, it will cause uneven force on the connecting bolts, resulting in vibration and noise during operation. Meanwhile, this non parallelism may also lead to angular deviation between the input shaft of the reducer and the output shaft of the motor, further affecting transmission accuracy and increasing noise.

In order to reduce the noise of JZQ reducer, it is necessary to strictly follow the installation instructions during installation, ensure the installation accuracy of each component, regularly inspect and maintain the reducer, and promptly detect and correct any problems with installation accuracy.
