Methods for extending the service life of K37AM112-15.19-2.2KW reducer motors in four major series
K37AM112-15.19-2.2KW reducer is a common industrial equipment. Here are some methods to maintain the K series reducer to extend its service life:
Regularly check the oil level: During the operation of the gearbox, the lubricating oil will gradually be consumed, so it is necessary to regularly check the oil level. Generally speaking, the oil level should be checked every 200-300 hours of operation to ensure that it is within the normal range. If the oil level is found to be too low, it should be replenished with the same type of lubricating oil in a timely manner.
Regularly replace lubricating oil: Lubricating oil will gradually deteriorate and lose its original lubricating performance during use. Therefore, it is necessary to regularly replace the lubricating oil. Normally, a new gearbox should undergo its first oil change after 500 hours of operation, followed by a lubricant change every 5000-10000 hours of operation or annually, whichever comes first.
Check oil quality: While checking the oil level, the oil quality should also be checked. Observe the color, odor, and transparency of the lubricating oil. If the oil quality turns black, has an odor, or appears turbid, it indicates that the lubricating oil has deteriorated and should be replaced in a timely manner.
Cleaning the gearbox: Regularly clean the gearbox housing to prevent the accumulation of dust, oil stains, etc., which may affect the heat dissipation effect. You can use a clean cloth or compressed air for cleaning, but be careful to avoid moisture entering the interior of the gearbox.
Check the connection parts: Regularly check the various connection parts of the reducer, such as bolts, keys, etc., to ensure that the connection is firm and there is no looseness. If there is any looseness, it should be tightened in a timely manner to avoid affecting the normal operation of the reducer and even causing equipment damage.
Monitoring operating temperature: The gearbox generates a certain amount of heat during operation, but if the temperature is too high, it will affect its performance and service life. Generally speaking, the operating temperature of the gearbox should not exceed 80 ℃. A thermometer can be used to regularly measure the temperature of the gearbox casing. If the temperature is found to be too high, the machine should be stopped in time for inspection, the cause should be identified, and the fault should be eliminated.
Avoid overload operation: Use the reducer strictly according to its rated power and speed to avoid overload operation. Overloading can cause the gearbox to bear excessive loads, accelerate the wear of components such as gears and bearings, and even lead to equipment damage.
Regular inspection of gears and bearings: Gears and bearings are key components of the gearbox, and their wear directly affects the performance of the gearbox. Regularly open the gearbox to check the wear of the gears. If any wear, cracks, or tooth surface peeling are found on the gear surface, the gears should be replaced in a timely manner. For bearings, the main inspection is to check for looseness, abnormal noise, or heating. If there are any abnormalities, the bearings should be replaced in a timely manner.
Correct installation and use: When installing the reducer, strictly follow the installation instructions to ensure installation accuracy. During use, attention should be paid to the way of starting and stopping, avoiding sudden and frequent starts and stops to prevent impact on the gearbox.
