The common faults of R47 reducer mainly focus on mechanical transmission and sealing. The following is a specific introduction:
Gear wear
Reason: Long term load operation, insufficient lubrication, gear quality problems, or impurities in the oil can all lead to gear wear.
Performance: Abnormal noise occurs during the operation of the reducer, resulting in reduced transmission efficiency and unstable output torque. In severe cases, it may cause gear tooth surface peeling, tooth breakage, and other issues, affecting the normal operation of the equipment.
Bearing damage
Reason: During long-term operation, bearings are subjected to axial and radial forces, as well as factors such as poor lubrication, improper installation, or excessive load, which can easily lead to damage such as wear and fatigue peeling.
Performance: The vibration of the gearbox intensifies, the temperature rises, and abnormal sounds are produced during operation. In severe cases, it can cause the gearbox to malfunction.
Oil leakage from the casing
Reason: The aging and damage of the sealing components, deformation of the box joint surface, or loosening of the connecting bolts have led to lubricant leakage. In addition, excessive oil level or clogged vent holes may also cause oil leakage.
Performance: There are oil stains on the surface of the gearbox housing, and the oil level drops. In severe cases, there may be a large amount of oil accumulation on the ground, which not only wastes lubricating oil but also pollutes the working environment and affects the normal heat dissipation of the equipment.
Overheating of gearbox
Reason: Excessive load, poor heat dissipation, insufficient lubricating oil or poor oil quality can all cause the gearbox to overheat. In addition, prolonged continuous operation or high ambient temperatures can also cause the temperature of the gearbox to rise.
Performance: If the surface temperature of the reducer is too high, exceeding the normal operating temperature range (usually 60-80 ℃), it may trigger the overheat protection device and cause the equipment to shut down. Long term overheating can accelerate the aging of lubricating oil and damage to seals, affecting the service life of the gearbox.
Decreased transmission accuracy
Reason: Factors such as gear wear, bearing damage, or insufficient installation accuracy can lead to a decrease in the transmission accuracy of the gearbox.
Performance: The speed of the output shaft is unstable and deviates from the theoretical speed. In some equipment that requires high transmission accuracy, such as automated production lines and precision machining equipment, it may affect product quality or the normal operation of the equipment.
motor overload
Reason: Improper selection of gearbox, actual load exceeds the rated bearing capacity of the gearbox; Or there may be abnormal situations such as jamming or stalling during the operation of the equipment, resulting in an increase in motor load.
Performance: When the motor current increases beyond the rated current, the motor heats up severely, which may trigger the overload protection device and cause the motor to stop running. Long term overload can accelerate the damage of motors and reducers, and even cause electrical faults
