Precautions for replenishing lubricating oil in coaxial reducer DCY180-18-1S gear reducer
When adding lubricating oil to the DCY180 gearbox, the following precautions should be taken:
Choose the appropriate lubricating oil: Select the lubricating oil according to the instructions of the reducer. Usually, DCY180 reducers are suitable for medium and extreme pressure industrial gear oils, such as L-CKC220, L-CKC320, etc. In special working conditions such as high temperature, high speed, or heavy load, higher performance synthetic gear oils may be required.
Ensure the cleanliness of the oil: Before adding lubricating oil, it is necessary to ensure the cleanliness of the lubricating oil itself, as well as the oil storage container and refueling tools. Check the oil drum for impurities and moisture, avoid refueling in dusty environments, and prevent pollutants from entering the interior of the gearbox.
The reducer is in a suitable state: Before adding lubricating oil, the reducer should be stopped and allowed to cool to room temperature to avoid injury caused by hot oil splashing, while also ensuring accurate oil level determination.
Clean the fuel port and its surroundings: Before opening the fuel port, carefully clean the fuel port and its surrounding area. Use a clean cloth or brush to remove dust, oil stains, etc., to prevent impurities from entering the gearbox during the refueling process.
Slowly add oil and control the oil level: Use a funnel or other tool to slowly add oil to the gearbox to avoid excessive oil flow impact that may damage internal components or cause oil spillage. Pay close attention to the oil level when refueling, and use the oil level gauge to determine if the oil level has reached the normal range. Generally, the oil level should be maintained between the upper and lower limits of the oil level gauge.
Avoid mixing different oil products: If a specific model and brand of lubricating oil was originally used, the same oil product should be used when supplementing, and different brands and models of lubricating oil should not be mixed to avoid chemical reactions that may affect the performance of the lubricating oil.
Check the sealing: After refueling, check the sealing of the refueling port, oil level gauge, oil seal and other parts to ensure that there is no oil leakage. If oil leakage is found, promptly identify the cause and repair it to prevent waste and environmental pollution caused by lubricating oil leakage, while avoiding the impact of oil level drop caused by oil leakage on the normal operation of the gearbox.
Record relevant information: Record the time, model, quantity, and other information of supplementing lubricating oil, which is convenient for tracking the maintenance status of the gearbox, and also helps to determine whether the consumption of lubricating oil is normal and discover potential problems in a timely manner.
