Besides the reduction ratio, what other factors can affect the output speed of the S67 gearbox

Generally speaking, in addition to the reduction ratio, the factors that affect the output speed of the S67 gearbox are mainly as follows:

Motor characteristics

Motor type: Different types of motors, such as AC asynchronous motors, DC motors, servo motors, etc., have different speed torque characteristics. For example, servo motors can provide stable torque output over a wide range of speeds, while AC asynchronous motors may experience speed fluctuations under different loads. When the characteristics of the motor do not match those of the gearbox, it may cause a deviation in the output speed.

Number of motor poles: The number of poles of a motor determines its synchronous speed, and the more poles there are, the lower the synchronous speed. At the same power supply frequency, when motors with different numbers of poles are paired with S67 reducers, even if the reduction ratio is the same, the final output speed will be different.

Load size

Load torque: If the load torque is too large and exceeds the rated load capacity of the gearbox, it may cause a decrease in the output speed of the gearbox. This is because the gearbox needs to consume more energy to overcome larger loads, which reduces the motor speed and affects the output speed of the gearbox.

Load inertia: When the load inertia is large, it will cause the output speed of the reducer to change slowly during the starting and braking processes. Because a larger inertia requires more time to accelerate or decelerate, it can affect the response speed and stability of the gearbox's output speed.

work environment

Temperature: Excessively high or low ambient temperatures can affect the performance of the lubricating oil inside the gearbox. If the temperature is too high, the viscosity of the lubricating oil will decrease, and the lubrication effect will deteriorate, which may lead to increased wear of the internal parts of the reducer, thereby affecting the output speed; If the temperature is too low, the viscosity of the lubricating oil will increase, which will increase the transmission resistance and also cause changes in the output speed.

Altitude: In high-altitude areas, the air is thin and the heat dissipation conditions are poor. The heat generated by the gearbox during operation is not easily dissipated, which may cause the motor and gearbox to overheat, thereby affecting the performance of the motor and the output speed of the gearbox.

Factors related to the gearbox itself

Internal component wear: After long-term use, the gears, bearings, and other parts inside the reducer will experience wear. Gear wear can lead to inaccurate transmission ratios, resulting in deviations in output speed; Bearing wear may affect the flexibility and stability of rotation, as well as the output speed.

Lubrication conditions: Suitable lubricating oil and a good lubrication system are the key to ensuring the normal operation of the gearbox. If the amount of lubricating oil is insufficient, the oil quality is poor, or the lubrication system malfunctions, it will cause increased friction between parts, resulting in additional heat and energy loss, which in turn affects the output speed.

In addition, factors such as the stability of the input power supply and the installation accuracy of the reducer will also affect the output speed of the S67 reducer to a certain extent.
