JZQ series gear reducer cast iron JZQ1000-20.46-IV reducer maintenance steps

Daily maintenance:

Check the operating condition: Regularly observe the operating status of the gearbox, including noise, vibration, temperature, etc. If abnormal noise or vibration is found, it may be caused by gear wear, bearing damage, or loose connections, and it is necessary to stop the machine for inspection in a timely manner; If the temperature is too high and exceeds the specified temperature rise range, it may be due to insufficient lubricating oil, poor heat dissipation, and other issues that need to be promptly investigated and resolved.

Check the oil level and quality: Check the oil level at least once a week to ensure that it is within the normal range. At the same time, observe changes in oil quality, such as color, transparency, and the presence of impurities. If the oil becomes black, turbid, or contains impurities such as metal shavings, the lubricating oil should be replaced in a timely manner.

Cleaning external dust: Regularly clean the dust and debris on the gearbox housing to maintain good heat dissipation of the gearbox. Avoid excessive accumulation of dust and debris, which can affect heat dissipation and cause temperature rise.

Regular maintenance:

Replacing lubricating oil: Generally, newly installed reducers should undergo their first oil change after running for 200-300 hours. Afterwards, replace the lubricating oil every 3000-5000 hours or every six months to one year (depending on actual usage). When replacing the lubricating oil, it is necessary to drain the old oil inside the reducer, rinse the inside with clean oil, and then add new lubricating oil.

Check gears and bearings: Every year or at regular intervals, open the gearbox inspection cover and check the wear of the gears. Observe whether there are wear, pitting, bonding and other defects on the gear tooth surface, measure the tooth thickness of the gear, and if the wear exceeds the specified range, replace the gear in a timely manner. At the same time, check the clearance and wear of the bearings. If there are any abnormalities, replace the bearings.

Check seals: Regularly inspect the seals of the gearbox, such as oil seals, sealing rings, etc. If aging, damage or poor sealing effect is found in the sealing components, they should be replaced in a timely manner to prevent lubricating oil leakage.

Tighten the connecting bolts: Check whether the foundation bolts, connecting bolts, etc. of the reducer are loose. If they are loose, they should be tightened in a timely manner. To prevent loosening of bolts from exacerbating the vibration of the gearbox and affecting its normal operation.

Fault maintenance: When the gearbox malfunctions, such as gear breakage, bearing damage, or box rupture, it should be stopped for repair in a timely manner. During maintenance, it is necessary to accurately determine the cause of the malfunction, replace damaged components, and inspect and adjust relevant parts to ensure that the gearbox returns to normal operation. For some complex faults, it is recommended to have professional maintenance personnel carry out repairs.
